If you are in or near NY and you want a fairly easy way to be entertained and make a political statement, try going on down to Pier 45 (Christopher Street/Hudson River).

Make sure to wear something queer... a pride shirt... rainbow something or other... birkenstocks... whatever... go in drag, if that is you...

The NJ7 trial was really about hammering the point home to black and latino queer youth that this is no longer the hang out place for them/us.  Now that they made it cute, they want it back.
